Event has been canceled due to coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns. The health and safety of RMHD staff, guest families, and volunteers are of utmost importance to all involved. The DAMC and RMHD will work to reschedule for a later date.
AGGIES FOR DALLAS VOLUNTEERS DO THE BIG EVENT
Join volunteers from the DAMC as we participate locally in The Big Event in partnership with Ronald McDonald House of Dallas.
All volunteers must register. Slots are limited; so sign up quickly!
Please bring a valid ID for check-in at the front desk when you arrive. Volunteers must be 15 years of age or older (due to the compromised immune systems of the kiddos staying there). Anyone younger than 15, even if accompanied by a parent, is not allowed since children tend to pass things easier to/from each other than adults. In addition...an affirmative answer to any of the questions below preclude anyone from participating:
- Have you or anyone you have been in contact with been experiencing respiratory or flu like symptoms including fever, coughing or other respiratory issues?
- Have you traveled from China, Italy, South Korea, Iran, Japan, or any other countries indicated by the CDC as Warning Level 3 or Alert Level 2 within the past 14 days?
- Have you knowingly had contact with a traveler who recently visited any of the above countries within the past 14 days?
Clicck HERE to register.
Details of the project work are being finalized; a few ideas are being explored. Regardless of which option we settle on, we encourage comfortable clothes and tennis shoes - something appropriate for manual labor.
