• In addition to raising money to support our scholarship efforts, a primary focus of the Dallas A&M Club is to cultivate the relationships of Aggies in Dallas area. Description:   Join us for the DAMC’s Aggie Business Luncheon, typically held monthly on the first Wednesday of the month. At each luncheon, we welcome an interesting guest speaker, often times an Aggie. Come hear their story of success and achievement; and bring plenty of business cards for networking.

Guest speaker/program:
Chris Curran ’87, chief technology officer (CTO) for PwC New Ventures, will share some of what he’s learned about emerging technology and what it takes to build digital acumen in an old school enterprise.

At PwC, Chris is focused on identifying and growing new software products; he is currently leading the development of 10 software startups inside of PwC applying leading and emerging technologies such as machine learning and blockchain to solve business problems.

Chris earned a degree in computer science in 1987 and is a member of the Engineering Dean’s Advisory Council and Engineering Honors Advisory Board. His wife, Laura, is a class of ’87 finance graduate, and they have two Aggie sons, Luke ’18 and Will ’21.
