|AGGIES FOR DALLAS VOLUNTEER EVENT
Aggies for Dallas is teaming up with Bonton Farms for a morning of farm work! Bonton Farms is a non-profit agricultural intervention to restore lives, create jobs, and ignite hope - by helping inner city families grow their own fresh fruits and vegetables in an area of Dallas where that is very scarce.
Bonton Farms was born from a bold idea - the belief that a small urban farm can restore a community with an abundance of fresh, healthy foods, meaningful work, and an inspired sense of purpose. Together we can make a difference!
If interested in volunteering, please contact Josh Shorter ’06 via email at firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up. Act quickly as there are only 15 available spots.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear closed toe shoes. We’d also recommend bringing your own work gloves, bug spray, and water.
- Volunteers must be 12 or accompanied by an adult.
- Volunteers need to be on site by 9:15am.
