|Join us for the DAMC’s Aggie Roundtable, conducted on a monthly-basis on the third Wednesday of the month.
Jordan Dunnington, social media manager with i5 web works presents: “How to Use Video to Connect Your Clients to Your World”.
Growing up with the internet and a cell phone in hand, it was only natural that Jordan would make a career out of social media. Majoring in marketing and management with a concentration on public relations at Baylor University, Jordan provided a variety of marketing, social media strategy, journalism and video production services to several area firms.
When social media first came on the scene, it was hailed as a revolutionary way for people to interact with each other, and it’s now become an integral part of millions of people’s lives. But there is one aspect of social media that many business owners often overlook, simply because they don’t know how to use it effectively – online video.
According to Jordan, social media manager for i5 web works, a full-service internet marketing agency in Southlake, online video accounts for 69% of consumer internet traffic with more than one billion users watching six billion hours of video per month on YouTube alone.
In his talk, “How to Use Video to Connect Your Clients to Your World,” Jordan will share:
• How having a video can turn their static website into a dynamic, interactive destination
• How Google sees video as a critical component of search engine optimization
• How they can use videos on social platforms to drive traffic to their website and social media pages

Aggie Roundtable offers an opportunity for Texas A&M former students to network and share leads on potential prospects/clients. The Roundtable began in the Fall of 1993; and through the guidance of its early directors, has blossomed into untold amounts of revenue for companies led by Aggies.
This group serves two primary missions:
1. Facilitate business networking among Aggies;
2. Help those Ags in transition find new jobs.
Bring plenty of business cards, brochures, and other literature to display on the table at the front of the meeting area designated for that purpose. You will receive the opportunity to tell the group who you are, what you do, and what an ideal client for you might be. Our mission is to facilitate business networking and to help those Ags in transition. So don’t be shy about telling other Aggies how you can help their business, or be helped.
Optional donations of $5.00 per person, per meeting are kindly accepted and greatly appreciated - with net proceeds helping to fund Dallas A&M Club scholarships for selected students from the area who will be attending Texas A&M University.
